We aim to dispatch your order the same day if paid for before 2pm (excluding weekends and UK public holidays). Please note that if your order contains an item with a 1-2 day handling time your item will take longer to dispatch.
Once dispatched you will receive a notification and the item will then be delivered in the next 2-3 working days.

You can examine the goods as you would in a shop but to obtain a full refund you must not use them. The goods must be returned in ‘as new’ condition and in their original packaging. At the turn of the 1970s and 80s, the world of rallying was undergoing a massive transformation. Cars with single-axle drive-which had dominated the sport until then-began to give way to a new concept: four-wheel drive. Audi introduced the Quattro model in 1980, but the true test of its capabilities was yet to come. The 1981 season marked the first full year of competition for the rally version of the car, which was homologated in Group 4-the premier category in the World Rally Championship at the time.
Behind the wheel of this new machine sat a Finnish driver... Hannu Mikkola, co-driven by Arne Hertz. The beginnings were not easy. The Audi was larger and heavier than its rival rally cars, and the development of this entirely new technology required time. However, once the design was perfected, the rally world witnessed something entirely new. At the 1981 Swedish Rally, the Audi Quattro claimed its first victory, capitalizing on its immense traction advantage on snow and ice. By the end of the season, Mikkola triumphed once again-this time at the legendary RAC Rally in Great Britain.
The Audi Quattro demonstrated the potential of 4x4 drive systems and sparked a revolution that, in the years that followed, would completely transform the face of WRC rallying.
