After the huge success of last year's Jadlam Spitfire Group Build, we're back with our second model kit group build, and this time, we're hitting the road! The 2025 theme is 'On the Road', where modellers will come together to show off their skills, unleash their creativity, and take on a selection of iconic car kits. It's all about celebrating the fun of building, sharing progress, and being part of a friendly modelling community!
In 2024, our Spitfire Group Build brought together hundreds of hobbyists from across the UK and beyond, all working on the legendary Airfix Spitfire. The event was a fantastic success, with over 270 entries with a wide mix of skill levels taking part – from first-time builders to seasoned modellers - and a brilliant showcase of creativity when the final results rolled in.
This year, we’re shifting gears. With the ‘On The Road’ Group Build, participants will be tackling four different car models, giving everyone the chance to explore a new subject and flex their building and finishing skills in exciting ways. Just like last time, the focus is on joining in, enjoying the build, and sharing the journey - whether you’re here for fun, to learn, or to show off your modelling expertise.
