They featured a compact 0-8-0T wheel arrangement and were mainly used for goods and shunting duties around yards and branch lines.\nBetween 1910 and 1916, more than 500 standard T 13s were built. After heavy losses in the First World War, additional engines were delivered in the early 1920s for the Reichsbahn and Saar Railways. Similar locomotives operated with the Imperial Railways in Alsace-Lorraine and the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg State Railways.\nIn 1925, the Reichsbahn grouped these engines into its Class 92.5–10 series with running numbers from 92 501 to 92 1072, and they continued work throughout Germany’s rail network.
