HAND THROTTLE CABLES

2 x 2meter extension cables for C7002 for digital hand throttles.
These have been developed by our technical department.
They are not available from Scalexric.
You can also use these with the new sports world pack throttles C8310.

Fitting Instructions for digital Throttle Extension Cables.
(note this modification is NOT required for Sport World)

1. Remove 4 screws holding Digital Powerbase together.
Do not remove 6 screws fixing unit to track.
2. Carefully open case and set aside.
Do not disconnect cables inside and try not to knock the buttons out.
3. PCB is held in place on 4 mounts. Lift PCB out and place on case top.
Again do not disconnect cables.
4. Using a 10mm drill in a cordless drill open out throttle hole to required size.
5. Replace PCB
6. Refit cover.

This simple modification should take less than 5 mins to complete,
and I would rate skills required as Beginner.
Hornby currently do not have any plans to produce throttle extension cables
for the new style throttles, therefore this is the only way
to overcome the short cables supplied.
