The jaguar XJR12 is a sport-prototype racing car, born in 1990 to replace the XJR9.
It was introduced in the World Sport Prototype Championship and in the American IMSA Championship in 1990 and 1991.
In 1990, developed according to the Gr.C regulations, this model featured a monocoque carbon fiber chassis, and a V12 6,995cc engine.
In 1991 it was updated with a V12 7,400cc engine. IMSA version with a V12 6,500cc engine.

In 1990 the Jaguar XJR12 won the 24hr Daytona as well as the 1st and 2nd at the 24hr Le Mans, where in 1991 it also finished in 2nd, 3rd and 4th position. In 1992 car Nr.2 ended 2nd at the 24hr Daytona.
